What is The Latin Explosion Show?

A great combination of only the most exciting, fast paced, high energy and most popular Latin rhythms and dances from the world today. A perfect comibination of Cuban and Brazilian Dance Styles, all rolled into one unforgettable show.

What is in The Latin Explosion Show?

1. Batucada: Live Brazilian Drumming the way it's done at Carnivale in Brazil.

2. Salsa: The Worlds most popular Latin dance style.

3. Lambada: Is Partner dance with beautiful movements and spectacular lifts.

4. Capoeira: Is a mix of Brazilian Martial Arts & Acrobatics. A crowd favourite!

5. Samba: Is a high energy dance with lots Big Feathers & Frills

6. Audience Interaction: Is our way of getting those Party Animals onto the dance floor

How long does the show run for?

The standard show will run for 30 Minutes. 45 minute and a 1 Hour Shows are also available.

What are the show costumes like?

All of our costumes are NEW!! Vibrant in colour with lots of frills, feathers and sequence. Our dancers will wear colourful traditional show costumes from Brazil, that are sexy, but with out being distasteful or tacky. If however you require for our dancers to perform in a more modest show attire, this can be provided for you upon your request.

Julian and Nina at BodyBeat are great instructors with plenty of experience. Their beginners classes provided me with a great foundation for building on. They provide lots of tips for use on the social scene as well as heaps of different moves and variations. Intermediate and advanced classes provide great routines every week, dancing is always heaps of fun at BodyBeat. There's always lots of laughs with a great bunch of people. They have managed to develop a real family atmosphere that is relaxed and encouraging. Dance is a great way to keep fit and meet people at the same time.

I joined Body Beat dance studio in November 2008, never before having taken a lesson, and now i absolutely love to dance. Julian and Nina are brilliant dance teachers with a wealth of knowledge and experience in a number of dance styles, and break down every move to make it fun and easy for beginners like me (not to mention two of the friendliest people i've ever met). I was afraid dancing would be intimidating at first, but Body Beat is a such a friendly and welcoming environment that once i tried dancing for the first time there, i couldn't stop! Since joining, I've taken on hip hop (my personal favourite!), Salsa Cha-Cha, Rock and Roll, Swing and Argentine Tango and starting to gain the confidence to take on more advance levels and even more dance styles. The monthly Salsa night parties held at the studio are especially fun, giving students a chance to practice what they've learnt in class on a social level, which is great if you think going to Salsa clubs still seem a bit scary. I highly recommend Body Beat to beginners and not-so beginners alike. It's a great way to meet new people and make new friends (so don't be put off if you have no one to go to class with), and more importantly, a fantastic place to learn how to dance! The All you can dance pass was unreal. It gave me the chance to practice more often and the opportunity to learn different dance styles at a fraction of the cost you would normally pay. Before I realize it, I was attending classes almost everyday. Everyone there is genuinely passionate about dancing and just want to have fun. The students in the class were friendly, non competitive and it is a place where you are never afraid to ask for help.

I went to Body Beat to give this salsa thing a go. It was immediately clear to me that both Julian and Nina were professional, friendly and generous people.
