Hip-Hop

Our Hip-Hop classes will have you bustin' a move on the dance floor in next to no time. Hip-Hop is a funky street style originating from rap and pop culture and is now seen in many popular music videos. Come along to learn lots of cool moves to the latest music and get a great workout. If you have never taken a dance class start with Absolute beginner class.

We have put together a perfect blend of only the hottest and most popular Latin dances in the world today, all in one course. In this course you will learn to dance Salsa, Merengue and Cuban. Salsa on2 is the most stylish, admired and envied form of salsa in the world today and it is this style of Salsa that we have chosen as our personal favourite. Salsa dancers around the world have been captivated by it, being fully converted to On2 Salsa dancing. Salsa Class Levels / Levels of Progression. Beginners (8 classes) - Learn salsa basics & timing. Beginners FAST TRACK (4 classes) - Learn salsa basics & timing in 4 weeks. Intermediate (16 classes) - Learn 16 new elements that will prepare you for the next level up. Advanced (forever) new routines all the time, learn to put moves together in routines. Also memory work, remembering routines.

Students must complete each level before moving on to the next level. If a student wishes to skip a level they must demonstrate the knowledge of the level they want to skip before being accepted to the higher level.

Cuban Salsa (Rueda)

Rueda, danced to Salsa music, is one of the most exciting social dances at parties. Couples dance in a circle going through great turns and spins that are called out by the leader. In this dance, couples frequently change partners making it both exciting to watch and fun to dance. No partner required. Socials organised frequently.

Brazilian Samba

Learn to shake your body & move your hips like the Brazilians during Carnival! Great workout, high energy dance that will make you sweat. Taught by instructor with years of performance experience. Lots of fun. You'll fall in love with the rhythm!!

Rock n' Roll & Swing 

Learn these two fun and energetic dances developed in the '50's that are still alive and fresh today. Rock n' Roll and Swing bands play at numerous venues across Sydney every week-end with plenty of social dancing opportunities available. Taught by a caring couple with years of experience. Learn a selection of dances that will have you looking great on the dance floor on your special day from the bridal waltz to the social dances. Adult Ballet

Develop confidence, coordination, strength, flexibility and body awareness. Have fun while learning basic principles of ballet through Centre floor work and Cross the Floor Ballet Combinations. Wear comfortable clothes and soft ballet shoes or socks. Beginners welcome. (Teaching RAD Syllabus) 

No previous knowledge assumed for the beginners class. Will teach all basic principles in Beg course.

Adult Latin Tap

Ever wanted to learn to Tap like the "Tap Dogs" ? This fun beginner class for adults will teach you the basic steps plus easy short tap routines. Gain coordination and strength. Tap Shoes are preferable, however any shoes will be accepted. Beginners welcome. (Teaching Glenn Wood Syllabus)

Kids Classes

Want your children to get active and have a bit of fun? You're in luck! We offer Kids Hip Hop classes which is a very popular dance style for kids! These dance classes build strength and stamina which are important elements for growing children. Hip Hop also incorporates body isolation which helps develop coordination and rhythm. All choreographies are danced to Top 40 music. Great fun for kids!

Beginners:

It is a level designed for first timers and for people who feel they have two left feet.

Each lesson has been carefully structured! You will learn all the essential basic elements that will help you grow to be a confident dancer. All the steps and turn patterns are taught clearly, patiently and at a pace that is suitable for learning.

There will also be friendly and expert male and female instructors in your class to guide you every step of the way.

Also we have employed Extra Assistants to be in these classes to ensure that everyone is properly attended to.

Most of all we have prepared a great course that will not only show you how to dance but will have you smiling and having a great time. No partner required!

 

Intermediate:

This is the next step up from Beginners.

This level is designed as a bridging course. An exciting and adventurous level that prepares you for the Intermediate level.

You will learn lots of nice moves and turns that will boost your confidence and ability as a social dancer.

 

Advanced:

The next step up from  Intermediate.

Must have completed Beginners and two courses of Intermediate.

This class is designed for the dancer who is ready to tear up the dance floor. Get ready for a new challenge and most of all a great night of dancing.

 

Professional:
